Every Ticket Form can be available for Private tickets by enabling it on the Ticket Form from the Suptask Web admin.

Private tickets within Direct Messages (DM) is a great use case to use for sensitive information that should only be shared between the requesting user and the responding team.

Common use cases included IT teams who shares credentials, HR teams who communicates employee data and Finance teams who shares financial confidential data.

How to create a ticket in Direct Messages (DM)

  1. User sends a message to another user using Slack Direct Message (DM)
  2. User can use the shortcut on the message to create the ticket.
Optionally the :ticket: emoji on the message can be used to create the ticket. See below for additional authentication.
  3. Select to create a Private ticket.
  4. Select what Ticket Form to use.
  5. Done! The Ticket is now created without exposing the information in the ticket to anyone else.
In order to use the :ticket: emoji in DM to create tickets, navigate to https://app.suptask.com/public/auth-dm and grant the access to Suptask. This also enables to include the full message thread from your messages  into the ticket.
